Booking & Payment

All sessions are personally photographed, curated, and edited by the photographer. A non-refundable retainer of 30% is required to secure your session date. No booking is considered confirmed until the retainer is received. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the session. All payments are non-refundable, except in the unlikely event the photographer must cancel.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

Clients may request one complimentary reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. If a session is cancelled entirely, the retainer cannot be transferred to a future booking.
No-shows, or arrivals more than 20 minutes late, will be treated as a cancellation. Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. Late arrivals will not extend the session, and the full session fee will apply.

Travel & Location

Sessions are offered throughout the New Haven area and surrounding communities. Travel within this area is included. For locations beyond 20 miles from New Haven, a travel fee may apply. Fees are determined based on distance, travel time, and logistical considerations, and will always be discussed and confirmed prior to booking.

Weather & Photographer Emergency

For outdoor sessions, if weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, a complimentary reschedule will be offered for the next available date. In the unlikely event the photographer must cancel due to illness or emergency, clients may choose either a full refund or to transfer the retainer to a future session.

Image Delivery & Editing

Final images are delivered with careful color and tonal correction, preserving the natural character of skin, light, and expression. This studio does not offer cosmetic retouching, including body reshaping, facial alteration, or skin texture modification. Additional images may be purchased at $40 per image. Requests for additional or non-standard editing may be accommodated upon request and are billed separately.

Copyright & Usage Rights

All images remain the copyright of the photographer. Clients receive personal-use rights unless otherwise stated. Commercial, promotional, or editorial use requires a separate licensing agreement.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared, with all necessary participants present. For sessions involving minors, a parent or legal guardian must remain present throughout the session.

Safety & Conduct

The photographer reserves the right to end a session if conditions are unsafe, inappropriate behavior occurs, or property is damaged. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

Liability

The photographer is not liable for accidents, injuries, or loss occurring before, during, or after the session. Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the session.

Agreement

By booking a session, the client acknowledges and agrees to the policies outlined above.
