I create portraits for people who value presence over performance.
My approach is observational and intuitive, allowing moments to unfold naturally rather than directing them into predefined poses. -
I work in a calm, observant way, guiding only when necessary.
With a background in television journalism, I’m attentive to subtle shifts in mood and interaction, allowing sessions to feel unforced and human rather than overly directed. -
Most people feel this way at first, and there’s nothing you need to prepare. I offer calm, natural guidance throughout the session—focusing on posture, gaze, and letting moments unfold rather than forcing them. The goal isn’t perfect posing, but helping you feel at ease so your presence comes through naturally.

Choose clothing that feels comfortable and reflects how you want to be seen. Simple, well-fitted pieces in soft, neutral tones tend to photograph best.
For family sessions, coordination matters more than matching. Aim for a shared color palette and similar levels of formality, allowing each person to look like themselves while still feeling visually connected.
It’s best to avoid large logos, bold patterns, and highly saturated colors, as they can distract from expression and interaction. If you’re unsure, we can talk through options ahead of time.

You don’t need to practice posing or prepare expressions. The most helpful preparation is simply arriving as yourself. I’ll guide you through the process and take care of the rest.
